I believe functional pottery holds a graceful power.
A sturdy platter full of food brings people together
for a memorable celebration.   
An elegant teapot gives the gift of caring hospitality.   
A simple pair of mugs of steaming tea can be the tool  
that starts a heartfelt conversation, changing the world.   
We must come together now in these divisive times,  
unafraid to speak our minds and willing  
to have them changed by each other.   
Now is the time for good pottery.
