BIOGRAPHY
Several years ago I relocated to Dallas, Texas after many years of living in Kansas City, Missouri. The main body of my work continues to be art for the kitchen, table, garden and the human hand. For many years I sold my work through art fairs such as the Plaza Art Fair, Philadelphia Craft Show and American Craft Council Baltimore. Art galleries such as Akar Gallery, Signature Gallery, Santa Fe Clay, Clay Studio and 18 Hands Gallery now handle my work. I also teach a few workshops a year, including Redstar Studios 2004, pre- NCECA Colorado 2003. Baltimore 2005 and Anderson Ranch 2005. In 2003 I received a Lighton Foundation Grant to work in Kecskemet, Hungary at the International Ceramics Studio. My work has been included in art publications such as; "Making and Installing Handmade Tiles" and "500 Cups," both by Lark Books; "Making Marks: Discovering the Ceramic Surface," Krause Publications The Art of Contemporary American Pottery, Kevin A. Hluch, Krause Publications.
